Theresa Griswold was raised on the Central Coast of California and has lived here most of her life.  Her greatest pleasure comes from painting her realistic but expressionistic depiction of her menagerie of animals, landscapes, and figuratives with a little whimsy thrown in.  Color is a major influence in her work.  She uses composition to suggest an expression, mood, or story.
